Over the course of the last year, Kirsten D’Andrea Hollander and Sheila Foster, founders of Dangerous Old Women Productions, have conducted inner-views with women from the Temple of the Sacred Feminine community with the intention of offering provocative inner views of women we know to be dangerous old women.
Women are considered dangerous, as Eve was, when they are daring enough to follow their deepest inner longing to step forth into the unknown, despite patriarchal, cultural, or familial prohibitions, and go toward consciousness and truth-telling. Consciousness and truth-telling, even to ourselves, is dangerous to old, fear-based structures, inner and outer, personal and cultural. Dangerous old women are courageous, willing, and fiercely committed to Truth.
We consider women old, not chronologically, but in terms of the ancient wisdom they hold in their hearts, souls, and DNA. The dangerous old women we have inner-viewed range in age from their thirties to their eighties, and each has a direct line to ageless wisdom and a unique and beautiful way of living and expressing the deep Truth our hearts hunger for.

Sacred Lover Initiation Film
Embracing the Divine Feminine is the first evocumentary film created by Dangerous Old Women Productions. Filmed by Kirsten D’Andrea Hollander in Mexico at a Sacred Lover Initiation retreat facilitated by Sheila Foster about seven years ago, Embracing lifts the veil to reveal women from the Mystery School in sacred space meeting, feeling, and, ultimately transmuting to joy, the pain and shame associated with their bodies. Women candidly express their fears, shame, and distortions about their bodies, and later come to the deep realization of the Truth about the beauty of their bodies.
This 13 minute evocumentary reveals a high level of emotional vulnerability and some nudity, and offers viewers the opportunity to participate with the women in the guided meditation led by Sheila that invokes and evokes the experience of the Divine Feminine as She lives and breathes within each woman, as each woman.
Women realize that their bodies are beautiful, no matter what the size and shape, and that they are not only not separate from the Sacred, but that they are, in fact, incarnations and unique expressions of the Divine Feminine.
Kirsten did the beautiful cinematography and sound at Rio Caliente Spa near Guadalajara, Mexico, and you will see the phenomenal labyrinth created by the women near the river. The labyrinth became a teaching on impermanence, as it was later washed away by the hot waters of the river.
